Extended Cookie Policy
This cookie policy is intended to explain the types, how they are used as well as to provide guidance about actions to reject or delete cookies on the website, if desired.
What are cookies and how they are used
Cookies are text strings sent by a web server to the User’s Internet browser, automatically stored by the User’s computer and automatically sent back to the server each occurrence or subsequent access to the site.
Almost all browsers are set to allow automatic storage of cookies on the User’s terminal.
The LASER King srl website uses or may use, even in combination with each other, the following categories of cookies, subdivided according to the classification proposed in Opinion 04/2012 on the exemption from consent for the use of cookies issued by the Working Group ex art. 29 within the EU:
session cookies that are stored on the User’s computer for mere technical-functional needs, for the transmission of session identification data necessary to enable the safe and efficient exploration of the site; they are deleted at the end of the User’s browsing “session” with the closure of the browser. This type of cookie does not constitute a tool technically capable of affecting the confidentiality of the User’s browsing;
persistent cookies that remain stored on the hard drive of the computer until they expire or are deleted by users/visitors. Thanks to persistent cookies, all visitors who access the site through the same computer are automatically
recognized at each visit, since the same computer is identified. Persistent cookies are technical tools that enable numerous functionalities for the purpose of facilitating Users’ browsing experience (such as setting the browsing language or registering the shopping cart in online purchases). However, persistent cookies may also be used for promotional purposes or to perform User tracking activities. Visitors can set their computer’s browser to accept/reject all cookies or display a warning whenever a cookie is proposed in order to be able to consider whether or not to accept its installation. The User is empowered, however, to change the default configuration of his or her browser and disable all cookies (i.e. block them outright), setting the highest level of protection.
These two types of cookies, session and persistent, can in turn be:
first-party when they are managed directly by the owner and/or manager/operator of the website;
third-party when the cookies are set and managed by third parties other than the owner and/or manager of the website visited by the User. This happens because on the site there may be elements such as, for example, images, maps, sounds, specific links to Internet pages of other domains that reside on servers other than the one on which the requested page is located. Such cookies are set directly by operators of websites or servers other than the LASER King srl site. Third-party cookies are also used to personalize advertising exposure depending on the User’s interest and frequency of exposure to the message. Advertisers may also use this information to measure the effectiveness of their advertising.
The use of cookies that could track the behavior of the User, whether of managed by LASER King srl or third parties, requires the prior acquisition of the free informed consent of the User.
On this point, however, it should be pointed out that if such cookies are not directly controlled by LASER King srl and, therefore, are directly managed by third parties, to revoke said consent it is necessary to refer to the links to the privacy policies of said third parties, as below, or, alternatively, to refer to the following sites that allow the disabling of most third-party cookies: Your Online Choices and AllAboutCookies
How cookies work and how to delete cookies
The way cookies work as well as the options to restrict or block cookies, can be determined by the User at any time by changing the settings of their Internet browser.
In this regard, the User can visit the site, in English, www.aboutcookies.org for information on how they can manage/delete cookies depending on the type of browser used.
To delete cookies from the Internet browser of your smartphone/tablet, you should refer to the user manual of your device.
